Prova se consolida como referência no gênero trail run na América Latina e gera 600 postos de trabalho
O Revezamento Volta à Ilha chega a sua 23ª edição consolidado como principal prova do gênero na América Latina. A competição está marcada para o dia 7 de abril e movimenta um volume de negócios gigantesco em Florianópolis devido ao grande número de atletas participantes. São 3.800 inscritos de 12 estados brasileiros pertencentes a 400 equipes de variadas formações e idades.
De acordo com a organização, o Revezamento Volta à Ilha deverá injetar na economia da Capital cerca de R$11,6 milhões na edição de 2018. Este número corresponde principalmente a hospedagem e alimentação. Por ser realizada num sábado, muitos participantes acabam “esticando” o fim de semana na Capital para aproveitar a cidade.
Dos participantes da prova, apenas 15% são de Florianópolis. Outros 13% são de outras cidades de Santa Catarina, mas a maioria vem de fora do Estado e representam 72% dos inscritos nesta edição. Soma-se a esses números a presença de familiares dos corredores. Segundo dados colhidos pelos organizadores em anos anteriores, cerca de 7.000 pessoas estarão envolvidas diretamente na corrida durante sua realização. Destes, 600 são pessoas contratadas diretamente para fazer engrenagem funcionar.
“Temos orgulho da nossa empresa Eco Floripa Eventos Esportivos ser “manezinha” e ter criado uma corrida, que há 23 anos traz tamanho impacto positivo para Floripa, com atletas de tantos lugares do Brasil. Não há outro evento esportivo em Floripa do gênero que atinja estes números. Continuarmos sendo reconhecidos pelo produto de qualidade que entregamos aos atletas, que retornam todos os anos, e só reforça que a Volta à Ilha contribuí no impacto econômico da capital”, afirmou Luanda Duarte, Secretaria Geral da Eco Floripa, organizadora da prova.
Cada participante injeta na economia, em média, R$ 700 no fim de semana, variando desde os orçamentos mais enxutos às equipes que chegam com estrutura mais preparada, cujo investimento aumenta pela contratação, por exemplo, de agência de turismo para o suporte logístico. A empresa oficial do evento neste segmento, a Açoriana, oferece um kit alimentação para cada atleta por R$130 e nele constam frutas, sanduíches, água, gelo e outros itens pré e pós-prova. Além disso, por meio dela há a negociação de tarifas mais baixas de hospedagem. O levantamento da empresa também dá como quase 100% de ocupação nos hotéis e pousadas do Centro e Norte da Ilha por causa da Volta à Ilha.
Outra grande vantagem do evento esportivo para o comércio e turismo da cidade é o trânsito, pois nenhuma via será bloqueada. Nos pontos de passagem dos atletas, sinalização especial pedirá aos motoristas cuidado e redução de velocidade apenas, sem impedir o tráfego de veículos.
“A Volta à Ilha é mais uma forma de divulgação de Florianópolis para o Brasil; de consolidar a Capital como um local de grandes eventos esportivos. Floripa tem vocação para o esporte privilegiada pelas belezas naturais da cidade”, explica o professor Carlos Duarte, diretor-geral da Eco Floripa, organizadora do Revezamento Volta à Ilha.

Я съездил в те страны, о которых раньше только рассказывал на уроках. Увидел своими глазами и Рим, и Париж, и Стамбул. Это дорогого стоит.
