A obra com três pavimentos abrirá 500 novas vagas em Ingleses
O ano letivo inicia com boas notícias para os estudantes de Ingleses, no norte da Ilha. Nesta sexta (21) a prefeitura de Florianópolis entrega à população o novo anexo da Escola Básica Municipal Herondina Medeiros Zeferino, em Ingleses. De acordo com o prefeito da capital, Gean Loureiro, as obras garantem mais 500 estudantes em sala de aula do primeiro ao nono ano. “Não falamos apenas, nós agimos”, salienta. “Fizemos praticamente uma nova escola dentro de uma escola”, diz o prefeito.
O prédio tem três pavimentos com quase dois mil metros quadrados de área, 10 salas de aula, sala informatizada, sala multimeios, três salas para apoio pedagógico e dois terraços. Foram investidos na obra R$ 5 milhões. Atualmente o estabelecimento de ensino possui cerca de 1,8 mil alunos matriculados.
“O bairro ingleses demanda, há muitos anos, a construção de novos espaços educativos e ampliação das nossas unidades educativas. O município de Florianópolis, de forma responsável, vem buscando resolver essa demanda, com a qualidade no atendimento aos nossos estudantes”, frisa o secretário de Educação Maurício Fernandes Pereira.
Vale salientar que ao lado da Escola Herondina está sendo construída uma nova escola municipal, que ficará pronta até agosto. A região terá à disposição pelo menos 800 novas vagas entre educação infantil e educação fundamental. O novo estabelecimento de ensino terá 15 salas de aula, biblioteca, laboratórios, sala de leitura, uma quadra de esportes e duas miniquadras. O valor do contrato do empreendimento é de R$ 4,7 milhões.
